Terms for South Newlands Farm

Booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking.

Prices: The price includes self-catering accommodation only for South Newlands Farm Cottage.   Due to the currant uncertainty the price may fluctuate by 10% from that quoted.          

  • We accept the following forms of payment.  Cash, Debit and credit cards ( Not Amex or Diners), BACS by prior arrangement..

 

House Rules

  • Dogsmay be permitted by prior arrangement small charge made but assistance dogs are free. The grounds are open plan, there is no secure area for your pet. Pets may not be left in the cottage unattended
  • To comply with fire regulations please do not use candles of any type in the property.
  • Mobility equipment provided. Whilst regular testing is in place, they are used at your own risk
  • Due to fire risks, electric equipment you may have must be charged in the lounge or the kitchen with the fire doors closed if left un attended while charging..

 

Cancelation and Insurance; If you need to cancel, please contact us immediately. These conditions still apply if payment on arrival with no deposit is arranged

  • More than 60 days there will be no charge
  • More than 30 days before your booking a charge of 25% will be made
  • More than 15 days before your booking a charge of 50% will be made
  • For cancelations made after that time or failing to take up your booking without cancelling you will be liable for the total amount. Unless we can re- let the Cottage. For this reason, you may wish to take out cancelation insurance. Which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker or the Post Office or Fish insurance

 

Non-availability; We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons   beyond our  control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you. Then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival after 4pm;  Please confirm an approximate arrival time after 4pm.

Departure 9.30am where possible please be ready to leave your accommodation by 9.30am on the day of departure unless otherwise arranged. Your bill for accommodation and any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure or earlier.

Damage and breakages. Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any damage or breakages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakage, but we may send an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

Liability.  We do not accept any liability for any damage loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicle or possessions. Service contracts are in place for mobility aids we offer but they are used entirely at your own risk.
