This is our third visit to South Newlands Farm Cottages. we found the Cottage spotlessly clean, with useful kitchen appliances and equipment. we appreciated the selection of mobility aids in the house also. We only needed to use the hospital bed. It was cold weather during our stay and the cottage is toasty warm which is important for my disabled sister. The grounds are great - plenty of space to run around. Peggy and Rod are the loveliest and kindest people and make us feel so welcome. This is an oasis for us to bring my sister , it is near our Yorkshire family . (we are from South Coast) We look forward to our next visit. Yum! The kitchen is fully kitted out with every single thing you could possibly need and the large table makes for a great place to gather as a family or group. The lounge is big and the sofas are very comfy. I was truly impressed by how clean the entire place is! The beds are comfy and the linen is outstanding quality. Outside there's a BBQ and comfortable table and chairs. The most impressive thing of all is how well Peggy is informed about all the things required for differently abled people. The bungalow has ample space for a wheelchair to move around easily. Peggy can arrange any of the gadgets and goodies you may need and it's such a smooth process. My only regret is not staying longer! We will definitely be back! Peter Smith2024-10-30Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Copper Cottage was comfortable and well equipped. We didn't need to bring anything with us - Fully equipped kitchen had everything, and dishwasher was a big bonus. Dishwasher tablets supplied! Bed was comfortable - Don't normally sleep well in holiday accommodation, but this was great. Disabled facilities excellent - Mobile shower seat and rise / recline armchair provided on request. Proprietors were friendly and helpful, and anxious to please. Good price for our stay. Would very much recommend. Rod and Peggy are very welcoming people and are on hand to help with anything you may need or ask for tips on where to visit. The cottages are ideal for my disabled daughter who needs the space for her wheelchair. The cottages are well equipped and our dog Rosie enjoys the holiday as well.
